Papa John’s Pizza founder and former CEO John Schnatter has come under fire again after making insensitive comments about property loss amid the wrath of Hurricane Ian.

Schnatter was interviewed this week on OAN Cable News, where he opened up about how he “lost a house” during the storm.
The interviewer pointed out that Schnatter took the call from one of his other homes in Park City, Utah, and that the images on the screen of his home in Naples, Florida, which appeared to be “completely underwater” and the sight “heartbreaking.” called. “

Schnatter’s net worth is estimated at $500 million. The pizza founder owns multiple homes, including a 16-acre main house called the “Papa Castle” in Louisville, Kentucky. He reportedly bought it for $11 million.
