Developer Steve Moser First discovered the multiview feature in Apple’s code last month, and it looks like the company is finally getting ready to roll it out. According to TechCrunchis the feature available in tvOS beta 16.5, which you can access by going to the Settings app and then tapping System > Software updates > Get beta updates.

Once you have the beta, TechCrunch says you can watch multiple streams at once by turning on a game and then selecting the “Add Game” option. From there you can even mess around with the layout a bit, whether you want to enlarge one of the games while the rest are stacked on the right side of the screen or just watch two games side-by-side. You can also switch audio with the Apple TV remote to choose which game to listen to, TechCrunch notes.

Apple is not alone streaming service has been experimenting with multiview lately. YouTube TV started testing the sports games feature in March, but it seems much more limited than Apple’s version. For example, there’s no way to customize the multiview experience yet, meaning you can only watch multiple games by choosing from the curated multiview bundles that YouTube TV creates itself.

In addition to tonight’s Major League Baseball game, multiview will reportedly be available during tomorrow’s Major League Soccer games on Apple TV Plus. Apple still hasn’t confirmed that this feature is rolling out, and it’s not clear if (or when) it will become available to people who don’t own the Apple TV 4K device. The company did not immediately respond The edge‘s request for more information, but we’ll update this article if we hear back.
