At the moment, the project only has the title Musk, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Aside from the name and the general vibe that it will take a close look at one of the world’s richest men and most famous tech CEOs, there aren’t many details about the documentary at the moment. There’s no release date (or even a release year), and it’s unclear if it will focus on certain aspects of Musk’s business or personal life, or try to cover them in general. Gibney says he’s been working on it for a while according to deadline.

This won’t be the first documentary about Musk. He was the subject of 2018 Elon Musk: the real iron man and a 2022 BBC program just called The Elon Musk Show. He can also be seen in Netflix’s Return to spacewhich relates to aerospace company SpaceX, and called a movie about AI Do you trust this computer?

Gibney has a reputation for being critical and decisive. He has helped investigate Enron, Volkswagen, the Church of Scientology and more in documentaries such as The smartest guys in the room, Black moneyAnd Become clear. He’s been too relatively critical by Musk in the past, so I personally wouldn’t expect it Musk to eventually become a puff pastry. But while I’ve enjoyed a lot of Gibney’s previous work and know that he’s very adept at simplifying and explaining complex topics, I wonder if it’s even possible to understand and communicate what’s happening on Twitter these days.
