As viewers get ready to see some familiar and unknown personalities hit the small screen, Bravo gave Southern Charm viewers a hint about the upcoming season.
The news that production on Season 9 of Southern Charm and certain cast changes are well underway will excite Bravo viewers. The Charleston team is back for another exciting season showing how they live a privileged lifestyle. Followers had observed the South Carolinians for years as they worked, went on dates, and partied in the small southern town.
The upper-class society of Charleston, South Carolina is represented by Southern Charm. Over the past few seasons, Bravo viewers have had access to Kathryn Dennis’ historic plantation home, Craig Conover’s passion for sewing, and what it’s like to be a trust fund kid who doesn’t have to do anything like Shep Rose. Charleston residents have been letting viewers into their lives since 2013 to reveal the drama going on in their inner circles. However, as viewers know, not everything in the South is ideal.

Who do fans want back for Season 9 of Southern Charm?
Season 9 of Southern Charm is currently in production, according to the Instagram account @Queensofbravo. Fans have expressed their preference for who they would like to see return, even though the cast roster for Southern Charm has not yet been revealed. Of Craig’s longtime lover Paige DeSorbo from Summer House, one follower pleaded: “Pls no Paige this season.”
Another supporter expressed a desire to see Thomas Ravenel return to Southern Charm. The eighth season of Southern Charm received poor reviews from viewers, who also expressed a desire to see Olivia Flowers fired. But almost everyone felt that as long as Shep, Austen Kroll, and Craig returned, the show would continue to be fun.

Who’s returning and who isn’t for Season 9 of Southern Charm?
No doubt viewers would prefer to see a tighter group than what was portrayed in season 8 of Southern Charm, and it seems the network agrees. Kathryn confirmed her departure from Southern Charm ahead of the upcoming season in an exclusive interview with People.
Naomie Olindo, who returned last season, will not return, according to a claim by @Queensofbravo, but Madison LeCroy will be “full throttle again.” Madison even posted several Instagram photos with Southern Charm creator Patricia Altschul and Southern Charm creator Whitney Sudler-Smith, as well as Madison’s new husband, Brett Randle.
Some well-known figures, such as Shep’s ex-girlfriend Taylor Ann Green, may not be back, especially given how hard the split was for both Southern Charm actors. Leva Bonaparte, who started her spin-off, Southern Hospitality, is also under scrutiny. Fans can only speculate about who else will or won’t be returning to the show and hope their favorite actors drop out as so much is still unclear.

Kathryn is out!
Kathryn has announced that she will be permanently leaving the cast in January 2023. Growing up on the show, she said in a statement at the time, made connections with other cast members that she would “always appreciate.”
“The love you all have shown for me not only gave me the strength I needed to handle everything [my ups and downs] but helped me realize I was not alone. I’m so grateful,” explained the original cast member. “I will carry that love with me as I move into this next chapter of my life away from the Southern Charm lens. I am grateful to Bravo, the producers of Haymaker and my castmates from Charleston for everything.”
Madison returns ‘Full Throttle’
“You’re going to see what I’ve got going on. I know I took a step back last year and this year I’m coming back full throttle,” revealed the hair stylist during her Fitness Goals for the New Year Amazon Live! stream in January 2023. “And yes, I’m going to show you what I’ve been doing, what’s going on with me, where I am in my life, so that’s going to be fun and interesting to do.”
Where does Austen stand with ex Olivia?
After meeting in late 2021, Olivia said on the Season 8 reunion special that they were no longer dating. The special was shot in September 2022. She told host Andy Cohen at the time, “I was ready to be in the relationship, but it was him who couldn’t get out.
For his part, the cohost of the “Pillows and Beer” podcast told us exclusively in October 2022 that he is not ruling out a possible reconciliation in the future. “I would never say never with her. She’s such an important person in my life and she’s been great for me, you know, this year to get back to, you know, who I think I am,” explained Austen. “So I would never say never with that.”

Are Taylor and Shep back together?
Taylor and Shep announced they were calling it quits after more than two years of dating, Us confirmed in July 2022. The clinical assistant sobbed during the Season 8 reunion special, which aired in October 2022, about Shep moving on so quickly after the breakup.
“We spent two and a half years together. You reportedly slept with over 300 women,’ Taylor claimed on the show. “You went out. You partied. Now you’ve cloaked me in this horde of whores that you fooled. And now I’m just a number. And that’s what got me in the head.
Later that month, Shep revealed to us in an exclusive interview on BravoCon that despite their breakup, he will “always be in love” with Taylor.
Taylor, for her part, confessed to us in October 2022 that she thought she and the author of Average Expectations would “get back together” if Shep worked on herself. “But that’s not the case, so we’re fine,” she said at BravoCon. “I wish him the best.”
Are Leva and Craig still feuding?
In the season 8 finale, which aired in September 2022, the restaurant owner and Craig got into a furious altercation. The founder of Sewing Down South kicked Leva out of his Christmas party over their altercation, which put a strain on their lasting friendship.
Even though they seemed friendly during their reunion special, which aired the following month, nothing was forgotten. Leva revealed exclusively to Us at the time of the altercation, “[That evening] changed our friendship dramatically”
But the Bourbon ‘N Bubbles co-founder assured us in November 2022 that she and Craig had since “made peace” and that the entrepreneur had praised her for her offshoot program, Southern Hospitality.
