Regarding The Amazing Race 2022

The new season of The Amazing Race premieres on CBS on Wednesday. Season 34 will not feature non-elimination legs for the first time, despite an international starting grid. According to CBS, host Phil Keoghan will reveal a “game-changing feature” in the first half of the episode. This season, Keoghan has even stated that there would be no U-Turns. Keoghan told Parade in a statement:

“I’m not sure it’s been such an important substantive aspect over the years.” I mean, a lot of U-turns are just ignored. Many things are not used for one reason or another. That just wasn’t the point of returning this time. We had other things on our minds.”

Shooting for Season 34 began on May 22 and ended in mid-June. Production on the competition show began a week after the Season 33 finale aired.
