Season 6 of the Christmas Cookie Challenge returns for its annual holiday tradition. Each week, five cookie chefs on the program will compete in a series of tasks for a top prize of $10,000. The show returns with an episode full of difficulties and a snow fight. In addition, instead of the normal five contestants, six contestants will compete as pairs.

The episode summary is as follows:

“Ree Drummond and Eddie Jackson ask four cookie-making couples to make two gift tags – one for each; the pairs then build a fortress fit for surviving a snowball war with a pile of snowballs in hopes of making $10,000.

Christmas Cookie Challenge Season 6 Episode 1 premieres on Food Network on Sunday, November 6 at 9 p.m. ET.

Christmas Cookie Challenge Season 6 Episode 1 called Christmas Couples features four couples competing in various Christmas themed tasks for a top prize of $10,000. The contestants must design two name tags for Pioneer Woman, Ree Drummond and Eddie Jackson of The Food Network. The name cards determine which couples advance to the next round and which go home empty-handed. The remaining couples then have to build a cookie fortress with snowballs for artillery to decide which castle is the largest of them all. In the end, only one couple will walk away with the money and the desired gold ornament to brighten up their Christmas.

Three of the four couples adorned their name tags in a Christmas Cookie Challenge commercial on social media. Joe and Danielle’s tags appeared to be gnomes; while Danielle’s leprechaun is excellent, her partner’s seems like “he just got into a fight with someone.”

Joe said in his confessional that complicated patterns are bad for his hands because they are not the strongest. Danielle said,

“Joe isn’t exactly a refined gentleman.”

Luke and Brett’s cookie is decorated with Mardi Gras beads and resembles a Louisiana Santa Alligator. Meanwhile, Aamie and Jonathan make guitar-shaped gift tags and cookies. Aamie called her companion her “Christmas taste tester.” “The guitar is one of the first gifts she ever gave him.

Jonathan confessed in his confession:

“I have a deeper appreciation for what my wife does, as this is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do.”
