The new trailer for Scream 6 (aka Scream VI) is out and gives us our first glimpse of a beloved character returning. Following last year’s Scream, which confirmed that the fan favorite had survived the destruction, the new movie will feature Hayden Panettiere’s first appearance as Kirby Reed since Scream 4.
New York City is the new location for the sixth installment of the Scream series. Although it’s a new town, Kirby warns that Ghostface is never far behind: “This isn’t like any other Ghostface.”
Watch the brand new teaser:
After Paramount’s trailer teaser came out yesterday, we knew a trailer was on the way (January 18). In one scene, we saw Ghostface following Sam (Melissa Barrera) and Tara (Jenna Ortega) into a convenience store.
Although Sam, Tara and the Meeks-Martin twins Chad (Mason Gooding) and Mindy (Jasmin Savoy Brown) have moved to New York City, they find themselves in danger again when someone posing as a Ghostface superfan starts tracking them down. .
Even while Kirby and Courteney Cox (who played her role as Gale weather conditions) will be there to help, the teaser makes it clear that Gale is in more danger than ever. Is it possible that the latest movie will be another Dewey?
Neve Campbellmeanwhile won’t be returning because she wasn’t satisfied with the studio’s offer. In June, she commented, “Unfortunately, I won’t be doing the next Scream picture.”
“Since I’ve been a woman, I’ve had to fight tooth and nail to prove my worth in the workplace, especially in the field of Scream. Given my contributions to the company, I did not think the offer was fair.”
