Early life and education

Jamie Michelle Luner was born on May 12, 1971 in Palo Alto, California, USA. She was raised Jewish in this Los Angeles suburb, with her older brother David, by their father Stuart Luner, who was a sales representative, and mother Susan Luner, who was an actress, but who divorced when she was three years old.
