Jordan died early on Monday, October 24, 2022 in Los Angeles. He had lived 67 years. At the time, TMZ said Jordan died after possibly suffering a medical emergency while driving to movie scenes for FOX’s Call Me Kat and crashing his BMW into the side of a building on Cahuenga Boulevard and Romaine Street in Hollywood.
TMZ also said the Call Me Kat crew became concerned when Jordan failed to show up more than an hour past his call time. Then they found out that he had died in a car accident. TMZ also posted a photo of the crash scene, which showed a white tent, yellow warning tape, and Jordan’s car crashing into the side of a white building with tall glass windows. People learned from the Los Angeles Police Department that the accident happened around 9:30 a.m. PT.

Early life and education
Jordan was born on April 29, 1955, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and grew up there. He received his diploma from Brainerd High School. Jordan described his mother, Peggy Ann Jordan (née Griffin; 1935-2022), as welcoming and helpful, though she never fully understood him.
Allen Bernard Jordan, Jordan’s father, was a major in the United States Army Reserve when he, along with two others, died in the accident of a civilian Beechcraft Debonair aircraft at Camp ShelbyMississippi, on March 31, 1967, when Jordan was about 12 years old.
