Tim Scott is a businessman and politician from the United States. Since 2013, he has been South Carolina’s junior senator. Scott is a member of the Republican Party and Governor Nikki Haley installed him in the U.S. Senate in 2013. In 2014, he won a special election and retained his seat. Timothy Eugene Scott was born in North Charleston, South Carolina on September 19, 1965. His parents, Frances (a nursing aide) and Ben Scott Sr. are his mother and father respectively.
