Chunji from TEEN TOP has released the tracklist for his first solo album “Too Late”.

Chunji, also known as Lee Chan-hee from K-pop group TEEN TOP, has announced the tracklist for his debut album, Too Late, which will be released on December 12, 2022. According to the poster, Chunji herself wrote the lyrics for both songs, which has increased fan enthusiasm and anticipation for the release. Too Late will be the TEEN TOP singer’s first solo release after debuting with the group in 2010. It will be released on December 16, 2022, following a special pre-listening event on December 15, 2022 for select fans.

Chunji will make his debut with the winter heartache album ‘Too Late’.

According to TOP media (the singer’s agency), the album is a gift for people who will spend the winter alone, as the two songs reflect the experience of loneliness. They said:

“Chunji will deliver heartfelt vocals that will touch the hearts of individuals who will spend the cold winter alone with his attractive voice, which will vary from the powerful vocals he showed during his TEEN TOP activities.”

On December 11, 2022, Chan-hee announced through two handwritten letters on TEEN TOP’s social media that the theme of his album would be based on the “longing and emptiness” he felt after a breakup. A message stated:

“When the cold season came, I immediately thought of you.”

Another person read:

“The breakup is easy for you, but the words are hard for me.”

The concept photos also hint at the mood of the album, as they show the 29-year-old staring straight ahead as he reminisces about his past relationship. The scenery and clothes give a pleasant and friendly feel, hinting at the general mood of the album’s songs.

Fans are commenting on Chunji’s solo debut as “aging like fine wine.”

Angels (the group’s official fans) rejoiced when Chunji announced his debut as a solo artist. Fans had long hoped for his comeback since he was one of the last TEEN TOP members to go solo and was on an extended sabbatical due to his military service.

“It’s finally here,” commented one admirer, while another added, “I’ve waited years for him to have a solo.” They praised the imagery of the singer in the concept photos, which have remained consistent for more than a decade despite his presence in the business. One admirer said it had aged “like fine wine”.

Others, meanwhile, praised the album’s songs, which were composed by the brilliant singer himself. Chan-hee was the last member to join CAP, Niel, Ricky, Changjo and former member L.Joe in the formation of TEEN TOP in 2010. In 2017, he collaborated with G-Eunha Friend on the romantic song Hold Your Hand .
