Brandy Norwood is said to have been hospitalized after an attack. According to TMZ, officials received an EMS call to Norwood’s home around noon on Oct. 11. TMZ also said her parents were in the hospital with her. The causes of the attack and confirmation of additional health problems are still unknown. It should be mentioned that she was hospitalized in 2017 after losing consciousness during a flight at Los Angeles International Airport.
Norwood’s staff said at the time that she traveled extensively as part of her tour, making more than ten flights. They also noted that Norwood had been working all night in her studio before leaving for the airport to catch a 5:45am flight. In an interview with the New York Post, she said:
“I’m not classified as bipolar, but I’ve had cases where trauma forced me to be less than myself, and at one point I thought I could have experienced that.”
In a separate interview with The Grio, she revealed that she struggled with severe depression, trauma and PTSD. She went on to say that she had been through a lot and had to overcome everything through counseling, prayer, writing and meditation.
