Beat Bobby Flay: Seasonal Throwdown joins the Food Network and Discovery+ holiday lineups ahead of the holiday season. The festive special limited series keeps the idea of the original show, but amplifies it to match the holiday mood. The competition is split into three rounds. Two chefs compete in the first round before the winner moves on to the next round to compete against another well-known chef. Whoever advances from rounds one and two will compete for the winning title against Bobby Flay in the final round of each show.
According to the press announcement for the show:
“Each episode is an hour long and the Beat Bobby Flay format has been expanded to three rounds with a team element – and in Bobby’s worst fear, only the toughest cooks enter the kitchen to take him down.”
