Right now, as I write this, countless software companies are building new features into their products that will take advantage of them ChatGPT, the conversational AI bot recently made available for licensing. And we’re just at the beginning. In the field of Customer Relationship Management (CRM), here are some of the big (and not so big) names doing it.
The provider of CRM and recruiting solutions for the mortgage and real estate industry has been integration of ChatGPT with its CRM offering to help its clients engage with their customers easily and efficiently and streamline their sales processes, resulting in – they say – a significant improvement in customer satisfaction, lead generation and operational efficiency. Features include natural language chat interactions, automatic responses to handle questions and objections, as well as coaching for team members.
The popular marketing and CRM platform uses ChatGPT to power its ChatSpot.ai and Content Assistant tools. Jennifer Torres of CMS Wire writes Content Assistant is “focused on facilitating marketing and sales teams with the ability to quickly produce and distribute various types of content, including blog posts, landing page content, website pages, sales and marketing emails, as well as knowledge-based articles .” As for ChatSpot.ai, the company says it’s different than a ChatGPT clone because it can pull response data from the HubSpot CRM and cross-organization data sources. It then incorporates a variety of data from other programs and technology, including image generator DALL•E 2, Stable Diffusion (a deep learning, text-to-image model), Google Workspace, and keyword research to provide results more specific to needs .
Lucas Mearian op This is reported by Computerworld that Microsoft’s new generative AI chatbot – which is based on ChatGPT technology – will compose email replies to customers, create textual summaries of Teams meetings, and generate marketing and sales email campaigns. “Based on OpenAI’s GPT-3, Microsoft’s new Dynamics 365 Copilot is an extension of its existing CRM and ERP software, working alongside those applications to help answer questions, create content, and summarize conversations and notes,” he writes. “The Copilot bot, running on Microsoft Azure’s OpenAI service, can be used with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales and Viva Sales applications to write email responses to customers and create an email digest of a Teams email. meeting in Outlook.” in information – such as product and prices – from the CRM system and provide insights from the recorded Teams conversation.
The real estate sales and marketing platform recently introduced two new AI platforms called ChatGPT Chocolate chips.ai And Aelo.ai. Chocolatechips.ai integrates new technology into AI imaging, video, text and avatars and can be used by a single user or teams with permission-based content sharing and collaboration that can then be turned into emails, blogs and social media marketing. Aelo.Ai, a fully automated AI-driven virtual staging platform that empowers agents, builders, buyers, and pre-listed sellers to reimagine a variety of interior or exterior home transformations they say are “all within seconds happen using uploaded or live photos.”
The CRM system for financial advisors now has a bridge with ChatGPT – thanks to its partner Orion Advisor Solutions – who can analyze conversations between advisors and their clients and suggest solutions – all with the ability to edit before sending.
The business communication platform has rolled out its own AI tool called Jason AI, which uses ChatGPT’s technology to generate, personalize and optimize emails. According to to a report from Chris Wood of Martech, Jason AI “uses Natural Language Processing algorithms and the ChatGPT language model to identify specific keywords and phrases to recognize the intent of email responses received by the marketer. The tool can then generate suggested responses . Users can select the option to rate responses before they are submitted. If marketers and sales associates are satisfied with the performance of the AI, they can choose to have the tool automatically send messages without rating.”
Salesforce has upgraded its Einstein AI tool to use ChatGPT for many functional applications across the platform. Like Eray Eliaçik writes at Dataconomy.com the ChatGPT-powered Einstein helps generate sales activity automatically, including emailing, meeting scheduling, and other turnkey work. It will also use data-driven personalization to develop unique email, mobile, online and advertising content that will attract and retain customers. Because Salesforce owns the Slack collaboration platform, users there can use the Slack-GPT app for AI-powered discussion summaries and deep research to learn more about any topic, and take advantage of a writing tool to quickly create posts on to set.
Widewail is now a popular customer review and management platform integrated ChatGPT and other AI features in its platform to support customers who prefer to manage review responses in-house and also bring new topic and sentiment analysis reporting to all customers. According to a company statement, “AI prompts are built from years of human-driven responses to enable the most accurate and strategic response possible. By leveraging the data from registered customer systems, such as a Point of Sale system or CRM , Widewail can generate responses specifically tailored to each of your customers. Business owners can optionally provide custom instructions to Widewail to ensure responses match specific tone or brand preferences.”
Zoho – a very popular CRM platform used by small and medium sized businesses ChatGPT in power Zia, the AI-based sales assistant for many of its business applications, including CRM, Analytics, Desk, and SalesIQ. Features include extracting key information from customer records, predicting deal outcomes, creating custom emails and templates, and checking for grammatical errors. It will also automatically summarize tickets, analyze customer tone, generate answers from a knowledge base (and track down solutions), create multiple versions of emails, flag action items, generate email summaries, and transcribe conversations.

When my CRM clients ask me if they should invest in AI, I say yes… but not where they think. The software companies mentioned above – and many others – are already using ChatGPT and other AI tools and will continue to do so in future iterations of their software. Users – my customers – need to invest in training so they can use these features to better run their business.
