Nuro, an autonomous delivery startup, is in the midst of a restructuring that will lead to layoffs and a shift of resources from commercial activities to R&D. Kirsten reports. Nuro declined to share how many of its approximately 1,100 employees will be affected. Employees are expected to know who will be fired by the end of the week.
Natasha L reports that Clearview has been fined again, this time in France, for failing to comply with privacy orders. Whether Clearview will ever pay any of these fines remains an open question, as the US-based company does not cooperate with EU regulators.
