One of Baron Corbin’s claims to fame is that he was the last person to pin Roman Reigns, the current undisputed WWE Universal Champion. Walking into the WWE TLC pay-per-view in December 2019, Reigns and Corbin – dubbed King Corbin at the time – were involved in a heated rivalry.
The match then moved to the signature Tables, Ladders and Chairs format, with Corbin eventually emerging victorious after pinning Reigns with the help of an outside party. Their battle continued into the new year, until the end of February 2020 cooled down.
On February 28, after the live broadcast of “SmackDown”, they entered a non-televised match. On Thursday morning, when WWE’s YouTube channel already had more than 92.5 million followers, the aforementioned match was finally uploaded for viewing.

Corbin, WWE Hall of Famer JBL, Kayla Braxton and Matt Kamp from “The Bump” all gathered to watch and discuss Corbin’s untelevised match against “The Tribal Chief”. At both rings when the bell rang, Corbin escaped any possible lockup with Reigns by slipping out.
The public in Boston, Massachusetts was extremely hostile, so for the third time, Corbin stood on the platform to silence them. When he turned around, Reigns punched him in the face, knocking him to the ground. After throwing Corbin into the ringside barricade and the announce table, Reigns took control of the match from outside the ring.
After gaining the upper hand with an inner thigh kick, Corbin dominated the rest of the fight, taunting the local stalwart New England Patriots over the microphone. And that gave Reigns a chance to pull himself back together. Reigns beat Corbin with a Superman punch and a spear after nearly ten minutes of fighting.
