The American Chopper series was based on the family business, and Mikey’s role was to provide comedic relief. Mikey is said to have been admitted to a rehabilitation center at the end of 2009 to get rid of his alcohol addiction. This was revealed in the American Chopper series.
There were many conflicts between Paul Sr. and Paul Jr., and at the end of the series, he tried to mediate their differences. In Episode 6 of Season 13, it was revealed that he had gone bankrupt.
