Harvey Weinstein is an American who was born on March 19, 1952 and has been convicted of sex crimes. He and his brother, Bob Weinstein, started the entertainment company Miramax.

Weinstein was born on March 19, 1952, in the Flushing neighborhood of Queens, New York City. His parents, diamond cutter Max Weinstein (1924–1976) and Miriam (née Postel) Weinstein (1926–2016) brought him into the world.
