Who is Amy Corbett from “LEGO Masters: Celebrity Holiday Bricktacular”?

LEGO Masters: Celebrity Holiday Bricktacular, Fox’s three-part Lego-filled holiday special, begins Dec. 19 and runs for three nights, ending Dec. 21. raise money for a charity of your choice. Will Arnett will host the show, while masons Amy Corbett and Jamie Berard will serve as judges.

Fox’s press announcement for the program reads:

“In each episode, Will Arnett, the show’s host and executive producer, along with professional Brickmasters and LEGO workers Amy Corbett and Jamie Berard inspire the builders, deliver extraordinary obstacles and test their ingenuity and talents.”

Amy Corbett has worked for The LEGO Group for the past nine years and currently holds the position of senior design manager since August 2019. She was the creative lead on The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part. The term “responsibility” refers to the act of determining whether or not a person is responsible for his or her own actions.

Amy Corbett will appear as one of the brick masters in the holiday program LEGO Masters: Celebrity Holiday Bricktacular.

The designer has worked as a judge on LEGO Masters America from the start and is originally from Glasgow, Scotland. She graduated from the Glasgow School of Art and studied product design and engineering. Amy commented on her studies in an interview with Oprah Daily in August 2021, stating:

“When I was in school I loved art and design, but I also loved math. I was like fantastic, I’m going to do it.”

The LEGO Masters: Celebrity Vacation Bricktacular She would like to work on mechanical projects and put her artistic spin on them, which led her to conclude that her “calling was in toys or fun design.” Amy currently lives in Denmark, where she moved when she first started working for the LEGO Group as a senior designer in August 2013. The LEGO Masters: Celebrity Holiday Bricktacular judge went on to discuss her experience on the FOX program, stating that her favorite part is “the big challenge.” Teams must build something that will be destroyed as part of the challenge. Her “top favourite” from season 2 was the storybook challenge, where children were invited to the sets. The students had to come up with a story that the builders had to design.

Amy also noted that the “pleasant side” of the job is the way young people, especially little girls, and their parents often tell her how motivating it is to witness female design and creation with LEGO. The judge says the challenging aspect of her job is that she has to send people home and make the “hard judgements.” LEGO Masters: Celebrity Holiday Bricktacular premieres December 19 and will star Robin Thicke, the late Leslie Jordan, Cheryl Hines and Finesse Mitchell as they join past winners in a bid to raise money for a charity of your choice .
