Early life and education
Kagasoff was born to Elise and Barry Kagasoff, the middle of three children with an older brother Justin and younger sister Natalie. His family is of Russian and Polish descent.
Darren attended Montclair Preparatory, where he played on the baseball team. In a 2008 interview with Seventeen Magazine, he described himself as ‘a rebel’ when he was 17 years old.
