Possible Uncoupled season 2 release date: will the series return for more?
We certainly hope so! However, season two has that has yet to be official approved by Netflix.

The show is billed differently than other Netflix original series. While most have been labeled as seasons or “limited series” (meaning one and done), Decoupled is labeled as “eight episodes” on the site, implying the future is unknown.
Season one’s performance, unlike that of other Netflix shows, doesn’t bode well for its renewal. Typical, Netflix waits 28 days before making a decision, weigh the amount of viewers against the production costs.
Uncoupled did well, but not outstandingly, staying in the top ten of Netflix’s most-watched movies for an average of 14 days before dropping out (according to FlixPatrol’s stats). Iceland had the best performance, lasts 24 days. The US and UK were 14 and 13 days, respectively, with the rest of the major territories following suit.
However, given the end of season one, it would be surprising if Michael and his friends continued to navigate the New York City dating scene a little longer.
Uncoupled season 2 cast: who’s coming back?
Disconnected rotates Neil Patrick Harris newly single Michael, so if there is a season two, he will almost certainly return.
Tuc Watkins, who plays Michael’s long-lasting love, Colin, may also be present, based on the events of the finale. Can you really cut each other out of your life after 17 years together?
Fortunately, Michael has his best friends to help him navigating singledom, primarily Billy (Emerson Brooks) and Stanley (Brooks Ashmanskas), as well as his right-hand lady in work and life, Suzanne (Tisha Campbell).
Finally, the always fabulous Marcia Gay Harden will return most likely as newly divorced and ready to take on the world, Claire.

Uncoupled Season 2 Plot: What’s Next?
Season one ended on a cliffhanger, with Colin reconsidering his own separated from Michael.
Colin went to Michael’s apartment after a nice reunion at the Jonathans’ wedding to ask him to reconsider their relationship. 17 year relationship. Will Michael want to go back to someone who broke his heart now that he’s finally found his feet and figured out his own life? Is it just too late?
Meanwhile, Billy was rudely awakened when a man he had grown to like confronted him about his promiscuous lifestyle. When his old habits died hard and he got a waiter’s number at the wedding, a heartbroken Wyatt scolded him, and now he wonders if casual sex is enough for him.
But they will all have to put aside their fears for the hardest challenge of them all: Stanley is diagnosed with stage one breast cancer and must undergo treatment.
The diagnosis shocked him, and even hackneyed jokes couldn’t hide how shocked everyone was at the heart of the group receiving such a troubling diagnosis.
