Early life and education
Burzis was raised in the US along with his siblings by his father, who was a football coach, and his mother, who worked as a manager of a local supermarket.

Burzis became interested in tennis at a young age and practiced it almost every day in elementary school, where he was also interested in basketball, and he played for the school team.
