Victor’s father’s name is not available, but his mother is Jo Ann Boyce, a nurse and activist. She was one of the “Clinton Twelve”, the first group of African-American students to attend Clinton High School in Clinton, Tennessee after the 1954 Brown v. Board of Education rule. His mother also co-authored the book “This Promise Of Change; The story of a girl in the fight for equality in school”. Victor is an American by nationality. Victor Boyce has been married to Libby for over 20 years – she is of Ashkenazi Jewish descent, and is a social worker by trade, working for the Homeless People charity and working with Skid Row. Libby gave birth to their first child, a son named Cameron, on May 28, 1999, and they welcomed their daughter Maya on December 28, 2001.

Victor’s son, Cameron Boyce, was found dead on July 6, 2019 – he died in his sleep at his family’s home in Los Angeles, California at the age of 20. The cause of his death was an epileptic seizure, confirmed by the autopsy report released by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner on July 30, 2019. He was previously diagnosed with epilepsy.

In 2010, Cameron appeared as a dancer in an episode of the web series “The LXD: The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers”, and then landed the role of Keithie Feder in the comedy movie “Grown Ups”starring alongside Adam Sandler, Kevin James and Salma Hayek – he would later reprise the role in the sequel, titled “Grown Ups 2”, in 2013.
