Milena Govich was born on 29 October 1976, in Norman, Oklahoma, USA, to Dr. Bruce Michael Govich and Dr. Marilyn Green Govich.
Both of her parents are music professors and were the inspiration behind Milena’s interest in music.
Her father, who died in 1993, taught at the University of Oklahoma, and her mother still teaches singing at the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond.
