Fate: The Winx Saga is a teen drama television series based on the Nickelodeon animated series Winx Club created by Iginio Straffi.
It is produced by Archery Pictures in association with Rainbow, a studio co-ownership by Iginio Straffi and Paramount Global.
It was created by Brian Young, who also serves as showrunner and executive producer, and stars Abigail Cowen, Hannah van der Westhuysen, Precious Mustapha, Eliot Salt and Elisha Applebaum.

Bloom, the protagonist, owns one old power known as the Dragon Flame. However, this mystical connection proves problematic and plays a crucial role in the ending of Season 2 of Fate: The Winx Saga.
The Dragon Flame has not been seen for a thousand years. Fate: The Winx Saga finally explains this, revealing that Bloom’s mother was the last to wield it millennium ago; knowing her daughter inherited it, she placed Bloom in a magical stasis before leaving Alfea in a mysterious dimension known as the Realm of Darkness.

Bloom was taken from stasis as a baby when the Blood Witch village of Aster Dell was attacked in modern times, and she grew up on Earth completely unaware of her history and heritage.

The stakes are higher than ever in Fate: The Winx Saga Season 2 as Bloom and her friends struggle to defeat the Blood Witches. Bloom’s struggle to contain the Dragon Flame leaves her vulnerable to it manipulation, leading to the death of Rosalind, Alfea’s manipulative head teacher. By the end of Fate: The Winx Saga Season 2, it’s unclear if Bloom is considered a hero or feared a villain.

Rosalind has taken over the principal, and people are not happy with what she’s been doing lately, which mostly consists of sending students away. Since her arrival, there has been a lot of news about missing persons. The first episode hinted at the threat hanging over the Alfeans.

Season 2 continues the story of deceit and greed as they take over the world. Bloom possesses the Dragon Fire, which is essential to the plans of the villain. As a result, she is once again haunted as she is preoccupied with her parental succession.
The series left viewers in cloud cuckoo land, which you wouldn’t expect from such a show. Because the series had that lots of potential, the character development and plot could have been much better. Beating around the bush isn’t going to do the show any good, and it’s left me with mixed feelings.

Beatrix had the best part, and she wasn’t even the main character. The seven-episode series does a terrible job of proving it right screen time to each character and tries to juggle many things. There’s no denying that the creators had a lot on their mind, but they weren’t able to make it a time-worthy show.
Fate: The Winx Saga Season 2 had seven Episodes from 51-52 minutes, so time was not an issue. This period was long enough to run a great series, but instead of the plot, the focus was on showing love and sacrifices (which also made no sense).
With such high expectations for the second season of Fate: The Winx Saga, it manages to disappoint its viewers. This season of the show can be summed up as one threat of impending doom, Bloom caught in the middle of a crisis, and another mystery.

Fans of the first season will be in my opinion extremely disappointed with performances and plot of the show. Nothing was spectacular and everything was over the top. Initially, the tension created failed to hold the audience’s attention until the very end.
