A man died in central London when he was crushed and trapped under a telescoping public urinal he was working on. During a rescue at the corner of Shaftesbury Avenue and Charing Cross Road, he was pronounced dead in Cambridge Circus.
Pop-up toilets are kept underground and brought out at night for people to use. At 13:05 GMT, people were sent to the scene to help.
The man was freed by firefighters with a winch. London Fire Brigade said he was let out of the toilet at 3:40pm. Although emergency services tried to help him, police said he was pronounced dead at the scene. His family has been notified.

Police, EMTs and people from a trauma helicopter were all present, as well as about 25 firefighters. The telescopic urinal is located near the Palace Theater where Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is performed.
Some roads in the area are closed and buses are running on different routes. Police on the scene said the roads will be closed for several hours.

Seen in the news about a telescopic/hydraulic urinal crushing a man in London. But I’ve tried searching what the hell is and can’t find anything. I suspect the above is not the correct name, but a slang term.
