Kim Soo-hyun has announced that he is in talks to star in Queen of Tears (literal translation), a new drama written by My Love From The Star playwright Park Ji-eun. If the actor accepts the role, it will be their third collaboration and fans will be ecstatic. They previously collaborated on My Love From The Star and The Producers, both of which were huge blockbusters with K-drama fans everywhere.
Kim Soo agency, hyun’s gold medalist, revealed on Nov. 4 that the actor had received an official formal letter to star in Queen Of Tears. The It’s Okay to Not Be Okay actor is set to rejoin Park Ji-eun in April 2022 for another program. However, it was not verified at the time and his agency recently confirmed the news.
They further stated:
“Kim Soo Hyun has received a casting offer for ‘Queen of Tears’ and is now in negotiation.”
It is not known whether he will appear or not. Given the popularity of The Producers and My Love From The Star, the new drama will no doubt pique viewers’ interest even before it airs.

Kim Soo-hyun, who last appeared on screen in 2021 with One Ordinary Day, could return soon with a new drama series created by Park Ji-eun. Not much information has been released about the drama.
