Jamie Roya well-known DJ and producer, died recently at the age of 33. Roy’s family announced the news on his Facebook page, writing:

“Jamie passed away the day before yesterday. Jamie was a much loved and accomplished son, brother, cousin and uncle who was loved and respected by his many friends and colleagues in the music world and beyond. We are all really devastated.”

DJ and producer Paul Woolford paid tribute to Roy on social media, adding, “there was no one like him.” The article continued:

“One in eight billion. He lit up every room he entered. A very remarkable person. It’s hard to believe. Say it is not so…”

Jamie’s funeral details are still being worked out.
