Ismaila Sarr was born on February 25, 1998 in the northwestern coastal city of Saint-Louis, Senegal. Ismaila Sarr was born to Abdoulaye Sarr Naar Gaad, who was known as his father, and Marieme Ba, who was known as his mother.
Sarr grew up in Saint Louis with his four siblings, Papis Sarr, Kine Sarr, Badara Sarr and Ndeye Ami Sarr. In the 1980s, Ismaila Sarr’s father was a Senegalese player who played for the national team. His family is from the upper middle class.
