James Tupper has claimed that Anne Heche delegated authority over her inheritance to him rather than to her eldest son, Homer Laffoon. According to court documents obtained by Page Six, Heche sent a copy of her will to Tupper and two other individuals in January 2011. Tupper claims that Heche appointed him as the executor of her will so that he could achieve her financial goals. Heche said in her will:
“My desires are for all my assets to be turned over to Mr. James Tupper’s management and used to care for my children before being delivered to the children.”
It seems that only one person has a problem. Hmmm wonder why? James Tupper, you’re the ex, remember? Let her sons figure it out. You don’t get anything.

James Tupper must stay out of it. Let the eldest son and his lawyer handle the cases. He’s not called an ex for nothing!

Tupper further argued that Laffoon would not be able to manage his mother’s legacy as he is only 20 years old, unemployed and estranged from Heche at the time of her death. According to the indictment, Laffoon replaced the locks on his mother’s apartment, where she used to live with Atlas, and his younger brother had no access to the contents. Atlas and Laffoon have not spoken to each other since Heche’s death, according to James. Meanwhile, neither Laffoon nor Tupper’s representatives have responded.
