How rich is Ashley Tisdale’s husband – Christopher French? Bio

Who is Christopher French?

French Christopher was born on April 23, 1982 in Los Gatos, California, USA. He is a singer, musician, producer and recording artist but possibly best known as the husband of actress Ashley Tisdale. His wife rose to fame as part of Disney Channel on which she landed a prominent role in the ‘High School Musical’ franchise.

The Wealth of Christopher French

As of the beginning of 2020, Christopher French’s net worth is estimated to be over $1 million, earned through success in his various endeavors. He owns a record company, manages a band called Annie Automatic, and has done a bit of acting as well.

He is also likely benefiting from his wife’s wealth as Tisdale has a net worth estimated at over $10 million.

Beginning of early life, education and career

At a young age, Christopher developed a passion for music; he started writing songs when he grew up, recording these songs with a 4 track tape recorder. He eventually decided to pursue music with his studies, and after graduating from high school, he enrolled at the Musician’s Institute in Los Angeles so he could learn more about what is involved in music production.

He studied recording engineering at MI – the school is closely associated with Los Angeles City College.

After graduating, he continued his studies by enrolling at Berklee College of Music where he learned more about orchestral and film music. The contemporary music school is one of the largest in the world and responsible for numerous alumni, many of whom have won awards in the entertainment industry.

Music career

After completing his studies, French formed an alternative rock band called Annie Automatic. He was the lead singer of the band and released several songs through online platforms such as Spotify. They also collaborated with a few artists, including Kaley Cuoco of ‘Big Bang Theory’ fame.

They had a small following and never got a chance to break into mainstream audiences.

He signed with First Artists Management and then began working primarily as a composer and producer, launching a music studio in Los Angeles called Lady Bug Sound. He also did some commercial work and provided the music for several projects. Finally, the opportunity for acting projects came along and he grabbed it, in the film “Not loved”. Released in 2018, the drama musical follows the story of a Filipino-American woman who struggles with sex and love addiction and uses music to help her recover from her trials.

The movie got some attention, premiered at SXSW and won a LUNA Gamechanger Award.

In addition to his independent film work, he also guest-starred in the sitcom “Young & Hungry”, which follows the life of a tech entrepreneur and his chef, who begin a relationship soon after they meet. The show ran for five seasons, end in 2018.

Wife – Ashley Tisdale

At a young age, Ashley was exposed to the entertainment industry while her older sister worked as an actress. She started auditioning at the age of three after the family was approached by a mall talent manager.

She appeared in numerous commercials and later moved on to performing on stage in plays such as “Gypsy: A Musical Fable”. At the age of eight she appeared in a production of “Les Miserables” in the role of Cosette. She went on two tours of the production, before moving to Korea for a production of “Annie”.

Wanting to move forward with her career, she moved to Los Angeles with her family and started appearing as a guest on various shows. She also signed a contract with Ford Models and did a few voice acting projects. In 2000, she won a Young Artist Award for her guest appearance in ‘Boston Public’, but she completed her studies while still working.

In 2005, she joined the Disney Channel and began appearing in “The Suite Life of Zack & Cody”.

The success of Ashley Tisdale

While Tisdale was becoming a household name, her fame reached international status when she was cast in “High School Musical” as Sharpay Evans. The project was one great success, leading to a significant following and two sequels, with the third being a theatrical release rather than a TV movie. After the success of the franchise, she signed with Warner Bros. Records and released her debut album “Headstrong” which was also successful in achieving gold certification.

In 2007, she voiced the character Candace Flynn in “Phineas & Ferb”, a role she would fulfill for the next eight years, while also continuing her music career, releasing “Guilty Pleasure”, but which met with less success than her debut album. She left Warner Bros. Records and returned to acting with appearances in “Hellcats”. She then signed with Relativity Media, which led to the shows “Miss Advised” and “Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure” – a spin-off of “High School Musical”. In 2013, she was cast as one of the main characters of “Scary Movie 5”, and was also a producer of “Young & Hungry”. One of her latest projects is her third album – “Symptoms”.

Private life

Christopher and Ashley met in 2012 through mutual friends. The pair were first spotted together at the Apple Store in Los Angeles and made their relationship public soon after. After dating for a year, he proposed to her while they were on top of the Empire State Building – they then had an engagement party at the Bagatelle Los Angeles, which was described as lavish by many media outlets. Their marriage was on the opposite end of the spectrum as she was a secret wedding with only close family and friends present, somewhere in Santa Barbara. Although the two have been together for six years, they have no children, nor have they expressed a desire to have one.
