Michael Barrett Watson was born on April 23, 1974 in Traverse City, Michigan, USA, to parents Michael and Karen. His father is a lawyer, while his mother is a paralegal. He has three siblings namely Scott, Christie and Kip. His family moved to Dallas, Texas when he was eight years old, but his parents divorced when he was 14.
