During high school, Tracy became romantically involved with a woman named Sabrina and they had a child together, but upon learning that his father had contracted AIDS from a hypodermic needle, he dropped out of high school to care for his father. Struggling without a steady job while raising a son, he resorted to selling cocaine, but this was also unsuccessful.
