Early life and the beginning of a career
Lisa was born in the Marshall Islands, where her father served in the United States Navy. The islands are close associates of the US in the Pacific, although the islands themselves are independent of US administration. There is a military presence there due to its geographical location. Her parents’ relationship did not last long and she soon moved to Hawaii with her mother.

She was then cast in another sitcom, “The Pruitts of Southampton”, which also aired on ABC for a year. The show is inspired by Patrick Dennis’ novel “House Party” and tells the story of the titular Pruitt family – the show was an attempt to make Phyllis Diller stand out like Lucille Ball’s success, but it ultimately failed and is considered as one of the worst TV shows of all time. In the 1990s, she appeared on the show “Dateline NBC” along with her husband, where he expressed that he was ashamed of his behavior and that he had become addicted to his life in porn. The two were also featured on the “Sally Jessy Raphael Show” where Loring threatened their marriage was breaking down. The two eventually divorced and that was the last straw that led him to leave the porn industry for good.
Private life
Before meeting and marrying Butler, Lisa’s first notable relationship was with Farrell Foumberg, a childhood sweetheart with whom she had a daughter when she was only 15 years old.
The two married before the birth of their daughter, but only stayed together for a year. She met her next husband in the late 1970s, actor Doug Stevenson who was known for his work on the soap opera “Search for Tomorrow” – they also had a child, but their marriage lasted only two years. After her documented issues with Butler, they divorced in 1992 after a five-year marriage. She was out of the spotlight for years, but in 2003 it was revealed that she was married to Graham Rich.
