James Herbert Keenan was born in Ravenna, Ohio USA, on April 17, 1964, his zodiac sign is Aries and he is an American national.

He was initially raised in Ravenna as an only child by his father Michael Loren Keenan and his mother Judith Marie, but they divorced when he was four, after which Maynard saw his father only once a year for the next 12 years.
