Early life, family and education
Adam was raised an only child in Minnesota, by his firefighter father and housewife mother – the family led modest lives but could not afford to go on expensive trips and vacations. He became interested in acting at a young age after watching TV series with his mother; he played baseball and soccer while attending Eden Prairie High School, and is a big fan of the Minnesota Vikings American Football team today. He practiced singing and acting while in high school, and after graduating in 1997, enrolled at Southern Methodist University, known for its great acting program – he graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in acting .
Career as an actor
