A Look At Clayton Echard And Susie Evans’ Relationship Over The Single

Clayton Echard and Susie Evans, who moved in together after season 26 of The Bachelor, will no longer be living together. Now living in Virginia, the couple wants to move to other places and maintain a long-distance relationship. The reality star stated that she plans to move to Arizona while his girlfriend Susie would go to Los Angeles. Clayton said on Dear Media’s Not Skinny but Not Fat podcast:

“We’re in Virginia Beach now, but our next step is for me to go to Scottsdale and she to Los Angeles in the meantime.”

Clayton and Susie’s relationship in The Bachelor takes a new turn.

After getting Susie back after The Bachelor, the couple chose to live together. They have chosen to live separately in different places and are in a long distance relationship after spending a few months under the same roof in Clayton’s hometown of Virginia Beach. During his interview with the podcast, he said:

“We’re like, ‘We don’t know if this is going to take a month’ [relationship] or if it becomes a lifelong connection, but there is no pressure.” Let’s just love each other and be happy for each other.”

The two move to separate places to pursue their ambitions and goals. When asked about the location, he said:

“We are only a 50-minute flight away, but we are both following our ambitions, and I believe these are the places we want to be.”

He also claimed that Susie suggested living apart because he had a demanding work schedule. He claimed:

“I mean, I’m on my computer 10 to 12 hours a day.” So she said, “Clayton, I’m going to LA so we can see each other over the weekend.” And we’ll see what happens. We’re not sure we’ll enjoy the long ride.”

The Bachelor couple is doing well.

Regardless of the distance, Clayton and Susie will do everything in their power to make their long-distance relationship work, as the former thinks.

“A little more space never hurts.”

He even thinks that “distance makes the heart grow,” but if they feel that distance is affecting their relationship, one partner will switch with the other. About the future he said:

“She has her own ambitions and goals. And we’re going for it. If it doesn’t work and we decide, ‘We don’t like this distance, it hurts us’, one of us will move in with the other.”

After season 26 of The Bachelor, the couple married. The bachelor confessed in one of the episodes that he is in love with her and two other finalists, Rachel Recchia and Gabby Windey. Susie abruptly left the stage after the news stunned all three women. After much drama and consideration, he chose not to give the last rose to any of the remaining ladies. Instead, he returned to win over Susie once The Bachelor was over. They eventually got to know each other and moved in together.
