Luke George Evans was born on April 15, 1979 in Pontypool, Wales, to Yvonne and David Evans. Evans is the only child of his parents and grew up as a Jehovah’s Witness. He spent most of his childhood in Aberbargoed, a small village in the Rhymney Valley.
